HUMAN + AI

Hi, I'm Rashad

My journey began at 12 when I arrived in New York City from a small village in Bangladesh. I worked the overnight shift as a doorman while in college, reading the Wall Street Journal at 4:30 AM and dreaming bigger. I cold-called my way onto Wall Street, built a successful management consulting career, and became a Principal at Capco before turning 30. Life taught me resilience through profound personal loss, reshaping how I understand purpose, empathy, and what truly matters.

I’m the co-founder of WhiteRoom AI, where I lead go-to-market, fundraising, and partnerships alongside my co-founder [name], who leads product and engineering. We build the governance layer between AI agents and the models they call — so enterprises can prove what their agents actually did. We’re live with a signed design partner, deployed with MIT NANDA, and have a provisional patent filed.

I spent a decade inside exactly the kind of regulated enterprise we sell to — Corporate Vice President at New York Life leading AI and digital transformation, with earlier roles at Citi, Capco, and KPMG. I know how these buyers evaluate risk, who signs, and how long it takes. That’s most of why I’m building this.

I also run a 410-member angel syndicate and a 130-member Bangladeshi American tech community — both of which feed WhiteRoom’s design-partner pipeline. I’m an MIT Sloan Fellows MBA ’26, a Pear VC Fellow, and hold an M.S. in Analytics and AI from NYU Stern.

If you’re an enterprise deploying AI agents and wrestling with governance, I’d like to hear how you’re approaching it — rashad@whiteroom.tech.
